Rocket reading group

This is the first time we have used this conference table for ITTM. We can get 8 people around the table. First you read a sentence and then you ITTM the sentence that you read.
ITTM means, "I THINK THAT MEANS."

Exams are over.

We have finished exams and results are back with the boys. While remembering that exams are a series of "pressure tests", it was pleasing to note the progress was significant for a number of boys in writing and grammar understanding.

Our next steps as a class will be improving our proofreading and continuing to embed ITTM (I Think That Means), which is a comprehension strategy for reading, into our daily routines.

We are also starting to prepare our online portfolios for you to view at the next parent interviews.

ITTM

We had an ITTM  (I Think That Means) session with Mr Ayrey. He is helping us to implement the new reading program.
